How to make Arduino Powered Traffic Lights

Hi there, 

In this post, we are going to talk about an Arduino project i.e. Arduino Traffic Pedestrians Lights System. This project is really interesting to try and with the help of some art and craft, you can create a whole scene of traffic lights and peds light.

Things you require to make-

• Arduino Uno R3

• Jumper Wires

• Breadboard

• LED

• Resistors - 10k, 220 ohm

• Push Button

Procedure-

1. Connect ground to Arduino

2. Connect LEDs to the breadboard

3. Connect 3 220 ohm resistors on the positive side of the LEDs

4. Connect wires to resistors then to Arduino pins

5. Now, place the push button

6. Connect the 10k ohm resistor to ground and to one leg of push-button

7. Connect one pin to the resistor and then to Arduino

8. Connect one pin to another leg of the button then to Arduino 5V

9. Now connect LED to ground

10. Put 220ohm resistors to the positive side of the LED

11. Connect wires to resistors then to Arduino Pin

12. Connect the green LED the same as the red
